I deleted the daily report from the jobs but still continue to get an email every night at 12:00AM
Hello!
The report attached to this email has been created as a result of a scheduled job which has been run by the avast! Administration Console.

You can easily set the report generated going into Avast console ->JOBS->SCHEDULER->select the job GENERATE REPORT->MORE DETAILS->SETTINGS->SCHEDULE
I only have 6 jobs, none of them are reports:
Clean DB
Computer discovery
Full scan
quick scan
remove unused logs
update server defs

Are you sure?
See my image 1 attached…
Or try to add a new job (see image 2 attached)…
Or try another browser to see if is a browser problem (like firefox or chrome…)
Or try to uninstall the console and install as a new…

Probably I understand what is happened…
You must recreate the job or reinstall the console and schedule the GENERATE REPORT once time (and set a past date) if you don’t want any report (or weekly or montly… if you think once a day is too much) but I think is wrong delete this job. If you delete it you cannot set it.
Recreated the Report job and sent it one time. Will see what happens tonight.
Thanks
Nope, got the 12AM Report again!
Jack, could you create the troubleshooting package (ADMIN > Settings > Troubleshooting > Download troubleshooting package) ? Then upload it to ftp.avast.com/incoming (http://support.avast.com/index.php?_m=knowledgebase&_a=viewarticle&kbarticleid=18 ) and send me DM
I changed the scheduled reports to monthly (from run once) and did not email last night. A little buggy, but I can live with it.

Hi Jack,
this issue will be fixed in the next update of Administration Console.
In the meantime,
remove the report job
run Clean unused database entries job (or create and run new Maintenance → Database cleanup job).
Thanks for your feedback and sorry for inconvenience,
Marek
