I have a popup window with this domain come up from time to time when I’m browsing with Chrome. I’ve ran Malwarebytes and it finds nothing and Adblock plus doesn’t prevent it from showing up. How do I stop these popups?
Here are the files.
Could you let me know if this stops it

It will be a while before I know if this worked or not as it would only pop up randomly. I also had a popup within YouTube videos, but I don’t know if that was caused by something like this or something Google is doing for revenue. You can’t watch any videos anymore without seeing ads it seems. Anyway, here are the logs.
Run it for a while and then let me know if it has gone or is still apparent
No, didn’t do it. Just had another popup.
Chrome has re-installed the two extensions that I deleted :
PriceBlink and Extension: No name found . Could you try and delete them using Chrome
I had PriceBlink in there, and though it wasn’t enabled, I deleted it. However, I’m not seeing anything labeled “Extension: No name found.” I did try running AdwCleaner again and it comes back with a listing under the Chrome browser tab about preferences. I tried “reset browser settings” to see if that would get rid of it, but it still comes back.
Could you just confirm that it is just Chrome that is affected
If I run AdwCleaner, I get results under the Firefox and Chrome tabs, but not the IE one. I mainly use Chome, and then only run Firefox or IE when something won’t run in Chrome. I’m assuming Firefox is infected as well because of the AdwCleaner scan results.
Could you run either IE or firefox and see if you get the same alert there please
I’ve tried Firefox and haven’t seen any popups yet, and haven’t seen them for a little bit on Chome either. There was an entry under Folders before in AdwCleaner that was removed and hasn’t come back, but I still have entries under the Firefox and Chrome tabs in that program. I’ll have to run it for a while and see if popups continue.
What entry is that ?
Got another one. The entry I see under the Firefox tab in AdwCleaner is:
C:\Users\me\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\mpnge7qd.default\prefs.js
Under Chrome, it is:
C:\Users\me\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\preferences
Run this and try Chrome again

Here’s the log. I’ll try again and let you know.
I’m still getting this from time to time, and when I run AdwCleaner, It reports back with the same issues that were supposed to have been taken care of the last time I ran it.
If they are the prefs js then it is just resetting the default and is no problem. What is happening now when you go to sites
Not sure what you mean by the “pref js?” I only get popups occasionally, but sometimes videos are slowed down and jerky and I thought that this might be a problem if this is trying to direct me to another site. And why would AdwCleaner come up with this if it is not a problem?
