Getting Update Errors

I am currently running avast! 4 Home version 4.0.235. It was installed on 4.7.2003. Since then I have not had any automatic updates to the iAVS file so I decided to perform an update check manually. This has worked in the past. I also see on your website that 0307-5 is the current version and was released today. When I attempt to perform a manual request for updates I get a pop-up that states:

The specified module could not be found.
cannot start incremental update.

It does look like no upates have occured since the program was updates on July 4th. Any ideas? I just tried to update the vps files with the download from the website and get the following error:

Can’t install VPS update. Please report the following error codes:

Ver:4.0.235
SI:0x00000002
ST:0xFFFFFFFF
LE:0x00000000

Ok another update. It looks like setiface.dll is missing from the setup subdirectory. I also found this entry in logs for a portion of the update that occured on the 4th.

18:20:23.815 Copying E:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\Setup\seti000000eb.vpu failed!!! error 0x00000020 ignored

The update completed though without any indication of an error occuring. Could this file be the missilg dll?

Thanks for any help.

Hello, it should be enough to copy the named vpu file to setiface.dll filename, internet updates should work then.

That did the trick. I notice that when it runs it copies the other setu000000eb.vpu to avast.setup.exe. Thanks for the confirmation.
