go.wvydeo.com

Hello,

Im running avast free, and i keep getting the go.wvydeo.com, message and its being blocked through avast, but when i scan it doesnt show up. Not sure how I can get rid of it.

Thanks for any help.

Edit: My apologies, i’m running MBAM now, and will update with the log.

For help, follow instructions here https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=53253.0

Ok. After about, 2hours, and trying ti get MBAM to scan, it was almost done and the laptop shut down due to overheating. Then i tried it again, and it blue screened on me 3 times. Not sure what to from here, i ever tried in safe mode, but it shut down real quick. Maybe re-format?

Attach Farbar Recovery Scan Tool logs if able to …

Just ran farbar for the first time. I cant tell how far along i was, and then the blue screen again. I’ll try again a little later.

OK. Finally got the FRST logs.

Could you let me know if this stops the alerts

edit: Ok got it to run the fix, will post log soon (fingers crossed)

edit 2: While running the scan is blue screened on me again, i will try again later

When it blue screens what driver does it reference ?

I apologize, i didnt even look. Let me reboot it.

Alright got it to run the fix, and heres the log. I can already tell things are running more smoothly, but i remain cautiously optimistic.

There look to have been some errors in that fix could you run FRST again please including additions

Here you go.

I thought so the one I really wanted to kill did not go, it looks as though there was a copy error

Let me know how the computer is after this

Ok here is the log. The bootup took awhile after the scan and restart…screen was black for longer than usual, but once it was on there were no more warning or popups.

OK I can now see why the registry entry is not moving, you had wordwrap on in your txt file

To kill that registry entry
Download the attached fixlist.txt to your desktop
Start FRST and press fix

OK that is now history any further problems

I just want to thank you for all the help, I really appreciate it  The fixlist ran fast and the log appeared, had no errors or anything!

Thank you again.

Subject to no further problems

I will remove my tools now and give some recommendations, but, I would like you to run for 24 hours or so and come back if you have any problems
