goggle.com what haappened to it?....a conspiracy...

hello there,we all knowm abt the mysterious goggle.com though we avast! users are always blocked from accessing this site by avast! network shield every time we try and try to go there…

recently i came to know that the that this site is now more dangerous for computers users and then i heard that if u stay on the the site for more than 30 seconds the site logs into our ip address and a hacker gets access to our pc…but not in case if u have any firewall…

so,i thought to go and check this out!!!then i did it on the pc i was going to dispose off i had a normal windows firewall which was at default settings…i went there it just showed on the page a number that is 35 i awaited to see what happens if i stay there for more than 30 seconds with only a windows firewall and no antivirus!!!

guess what!!!nothing happened i stayed there for 30 seconds and didnt see anything loging into my ip address since on the page it was written 35 i waited for addition 5 seconds!!!nothing i found!!! i scanned my pc with malwarebytes, hitman pro, tdsskiller, rkill, superantispyware, norton powereraser,stinger360 removal tool…nothing was found on the pc!!!even my firewall remained silent!!!

now i have avast! on my new laptop and it keeps blocking that site if u try yo go there!!!so never try and go there by turning it off!!!go there on ur own risk!!!

so,i hope u made ur decision…be carefull!!!
my next post will be on youareanidiot dot org

It is a typo squatting domain and has in the past I believe been the subject of malware.

You have to wonder about the legitimacy of such typo squatters, what is is that they seek to do, it may simply be to profit from the Google name, but it leaves me thinking about the ethics of such a typo domain name.

Whilst it may be dormant right now, there is no guarantee that this will remain so, avast isn’t alone in alerting on this site http://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/goggle.com. So given its past history and the typo squatting and ethical issues anyone arriving there is more likely to have been trying to connect to google.com and not goggle, I think it right to block it.

You could always have used google.com to find information about goggle.com.

What surprises me most is that google.com haven’t sued their a** over the domain name.

Hi com155,

It is a dangerous site: http://www.urlvoid.com/scan/goggle.com
See: http://www.siteadvisor.com/sites/goggle.com?ref=safe&aff_id=0
See: http://hosts-file.net/?s=goggle.com where it comes in the fraudulent software and websites -
high risk category…
Suspicious cookie policy, giving away dynamic content header is insecure,
only 40 points at webutation: http://www.webutation.net/go/review/goggle.com
So do not go there because of suspicious web reputation…

And this is also a baddy on the same domain: -http://www.ww.goggle.com
http://www.urlvoid.com/scan/ww.goggle.com a dangerous and spyware site
as susucri scanner and SOSWebScan find nothing wrong there.
at VT url scan TrendMicro flags it: http://www.virustotal.com/url-scan/report.html?id=ebb182f143b552d1904c896dec577139-1307791091
