Good evening, thanks in advance

Hello and good evening to everyone, a friend of mine gave me this link to try and ask for help to see if there was anything that could be done on my computer (in the case that perhaps something still managed to cling on). Before I downloaded Malwarebytes and did the scan (and also had some sort of protection), whenever a tab tried to load on Chrome or Chromium, some sort of popup appeared asking for my username and password, if I remember correctly it went like win32 or something? Regardless after I clicked X, some adds started to appear on my screen which I also clicked X on them and this cycle would just repeat as the same popup continued to load on certain tabs. Forgive me but I regretfully didn’t think of taking a screenshot :confused:

In any case, once I got Malwarebytes downloaded and up and running, whenever a tab began to load I got a notification from Malwarebytes about a hijack being blocked alongside an IP Address that for some reason leads to Israel when I looked it up? In any case here are the scan logs and the report from the blocked hijack. There is a lot of the second one so I’ll post just one unless you need them all.

Thanks for reading through my rambling, any and all help is sincerely appreciated ^^.

Attach your basic diagnostic logs. (MBAM and FRST)

I’m sorry this took so long, here you go. I couldn’t do the rootkit scan because every time that I do my laptop keeps crashing.

OK, now you’ve to wait for one of the malware experts…

That’s fine, I don’t mind waiting ^^.

Buppity Bump ^^;

Complete Chrome reinstall is required. Follow these instructions and report status after.
