I’m not really one for opening ceremonies but I watched quite a bit of it and what I saw was pretty spectacular. Liked the spoof of the Queen and James Bond jumping into the Olympic Stadium from the helicopter - well I would wouldn’t it ;D

I thought it was very good as well, especially her Maj para jumping, although for most non-commonwealth people some of the references and jokes would have been missed
