Google searches on Chrome are redirecting to Bing

Hi Everyone,

I think I have some malware, which Avast is not detecting…

I use Chrome and Firefox browsers and recently noticed that Chrome searches redirected from Google Search to Bing Search. I checked my browser settings and google remains my default search engine. I have just run an Avast scan and it has detected no browser threat and no viruses or malware.

What should I do next ?

I’m having the same issue. I have run avast several times and I cannot seem to set google as my default home page or search engine. Google settings says it is, but when I open a new window it always defaults to bing.
