Hi.
How to un phishing the main GOV.UK site ???
Avast Online Security is just blocked ALL official website of GOV.UK …
how to un-do it, as exclusion in settings does nothing to allow to access the GOV.UK services??
//from covid info, to maIn login web
https://www.tax.service.gov.uk/bas-gateway/sign-in?continue_url=/personal-account&origin=PTA-frontend
https://www.access.service.gov.uk/login/signin/creds
threat is applied to all www.access.service.gov.uk
edit:
https://www.universal-credit.service.gov.uk/sign-in
blocked as well as dangerous website.
Blocked here as well
The form to report a false positive is at https://www.avast.com/en-gb/false-positive-file-form.php
I have reported the universal credit and access.services URLs
Interesting (and annoying if you need them) that parts of the gov.uk site are thought to be phishing. And they say satire is dead!
I’m struggling to unblock access to the site.
I’m not sure what my start point should be.
I’ve escalated this to the Avast team.

Hello,

Thanks

Working now thanks.
For those effected, ensure that you have the latest streaming updates/virus definitions.
Can not access Universal Credit sign in page on GOV.UK , Using Avast (free version with latest definition and program updates), Firefox (latest version), this is the error I get: “An error occurred during a connection to www.universal-credit.service.gov.uk . PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR”. Links on GOV.UK work up to when i click “Sign In”

Confirmed, please modify your link so it isn’t active e.g. as I modified your quoted link universal-credit.service.gov.uk .
This can be reported here - https://www.avast.com/en-gb/false-positive-file-form.php
EDIT: I have just reported it.
The site is still being treated as ‘unsafe’ and ‘phishing’.
I’ve tried turning off my Avast shields, and adding the site to my Exceptions list, but Avast still continues to block the site.
Please fix it.
Thanks
Still blocked and these stream updates are showing on my system
Unable to access this link to Tax Account
https://www.access.service.gov.uk/
As showing as a Phishing site still with all definitions and engines updated on Avast Premium

Hi guys, it should be finally fixed now (via stream update).
As far as I can see, the access.service part of the site can now be accessed but the universal credit link is still blocked as a phishing site

No Alert, but a site error page not found.
Confirmed, thank you, the Universal Credit site seems to be fixed now. DavidR reports an error, but it is clear and clean for me.
Just tried the site now. It’s working.
Many thanks

Confirmed, thank you, the Universal Credit site seems to be fixed now. DavidR reports an error, but it is clear and clean for me.
It may just be the timing/distribution of the virus signature updates, it is working now also.
Further update, whilst I get this error page, I don’t know if is because ordinarily you wouldn’t access it directly, but from another page.
