Greyed out areas

Hi, I’ve just downloaded Avast!4 and noticed the following greyed out areas which I can’t access:

Status info
Last scan results
View scan report

Any advice please? Am using XP Home.

Also, suggestions on what to set the ‘logging’ to, would be appreciated.

Did you perform any scan? That may ungrey the items…

Oooh, that was quick lol. Yes, did a scan yesterday. had another thought tho, I’m using the free edition of Avast!4, would that make a difference?

No, it shouldn’t make any difference.

When you run (finish) a test, these options should be available (but only until you close avast!). However:
Last Scan Results will be available only if there were any results, i.e. if any virus has been found.
View Scan Reports will be available only when the creation of the report file is turned on (Settings / Report file).
Status Information just refreshes the initial screen of the Simple User Interface (VPS Info, etc).
