Grime wireless connection

I purchased Grime and it will not connect to my wireless network, I know I am selecting the correct network and entering the correct password. Any suggestions?

You will need to provide information if you want help.
Keep in mind that we can not see what is going on on your system(s)/network.
Grime? Do you mean GrimeFighter?
What version of avast?
What os/sp?
Any error message? If so, what is the exact message?
etc. etc.

Yes I mean Grimefighter
AVAST 2014.9.0.2011
Windows 7 Service pack 1

I select Grimefighter from AVAST tools, It states it will run next time I reboot, Do I want to reboot now? Yes. It shuts down my computer and restarts with the Grimefighter window showing me that it is putting my computer to sleep, the last step I get to states it needs an internet connection, I select my network from the list and enter the password, after about a minute or 2 it goes back to the screen telling me I it needs a network connection with the list of available networks. a vicious circle

Install avast version 2014.9.0.2013 and see if that solves the problem.

I updated Avast as suggested, Grimefighter will still not connect via wireless network (I have tried 3 different networks)
I was able to run grimefighter wired on the LAN

Could it be your firewall?

If it is a firewall issue, it must be a hardware firewall in his router/modem since GrimeFighter doesn’t have one.

PS: Asked the avast team to look at it.

I have the exact same problem and telephone support has no viable solution. In addition, when Grime Fighter installed it created a duplicate device for my PC and shows it in the device list. My OS is also WIN7 SP1 up to date - Avast Premier 2014.9.0.2013. My wireless works in all other applications. I tried all of the solutions suggested without success and additionally tried the uninstall reinstall approach. I humored telephone support, who thought my quarantine folder which contained some viruses and adware was the culprit, and performed an intensive full system cleaning to no avail. I don’t have the ability to use a wired connection so would appreciate any help.

Eddy, it is not a router or firewall issue All other programs work and as I stated I have tried 3 different wireless networks

It wasn’t me who said it could be a firewall issue.
It doesn’t matter if other applications work or not.
GrimeFighter boots its own OS and runs from there.
