I used Grimefighter on a Windows 7 PC. After it was finished, I went back to Windows and the PC’s performance was better. Then I switched the PC off and turned it later on again. After clicking on the user icon, I get the welcome screen and then the screen gets black. I still can use cntr/alt/del to swhitch users and to turn the PC off, but I can’t get further. I read that the changes Grimefighter makes can be reversed but of course I can’t get to that screen. I did I restoration but the problem persists. Can someone help me?
From Ctrl+Alt+Del screen select Start Task Manager (or press Ctrl+Shift+Esc). There in File menu select New Task and try to run explorer.exe, it should start default Windows shell.
