I have had Avast Free AntiVirus for a few weeks not and decided to purchase GrimeFighter yesterday. It appeared to download, but NEVER installed after reboot, like it claims it would. I have already re-booted about 4 times.
This add-on PAID product does NOT appear to be located anywhere on my PC - registry, Downloads directory, Program Files directory, anywhere.
Not sure how it will install if it DOES NOT appear to even be on my PC.

That’s a good question and I personally do not have an answer. I have been following posts on the forum inquirying about GrimeFighter. But as yet I personally have not seen it “offered” anywhere in or during my Premier version installation ???
There will be others that can provide pertinent information but keep in mind, this is a NEW addition and I’m not sure information/FACTS may be slow in becoming clear. 
I have the same problem with Vista. I have tried to run Grimefighter 10 times. Each time in the beginning of start-up, a few things are found then the computer shuts down. Very frustrating
