Could you also try to generate a support package? You can do this by opening Avast, then going to Help, then Feedback, then click Generate Support Package. You only need to have the log file box checked and then click “generate now”
I am running Windows 7…downloaded Grime Fighter on Saturday finally used it today…my screen went black…then a little green box was in the upper left hand corner blinking and that went away and the screen stayed black for 1 hour…I got worried I turned off my pc…and turned it back on now it takes forever to start. Virus version 140819-0 AVAST version 2014.9.02021 Did I over react? Is this how it is suppose to react by making my screen black?

“Su configuración de Windows tiene datos que no conseguimos reconocer. Para mayor seguridad, no podemos trabajar en este PC”. me pide abortar y no puedo optimizar. El Windows que tengo instalado es el 7 sobre 64 bits.
I’m having the exact same problem I checked the requirements and now it doesn’t work. I’ve emailed 1000000times but no luck. I also renewed my licence for Avast Pro, but I keep getting a message saying my licence is about to expire. I have sent proof of payment but no-one bothers to answer my submissions anymore. This is tantamount to fraud and theft. I’ve asked for a refund but have been ignored. Really angry and disappointed! :-[ :-[
