This sometimes happens when GrimeFighter detects some registry or hard drive configuration that it does not recognize and therefore backs out of the operation instead of doing anything that might harm your PC. We are aware of this issue and should fix the situation in a release in early February so that you don’t have this happen after you’ve purchased the product.

Well, looks like I’ve found the right spot! Bought GrimeFighter just yesterday after deciding to finally upgrade to Pro! Well… it doesn’t work! I’ve tried it three times at this point. Gives me a black screen and nothing else! Have to hold down the power button to stop it, which is terrifying every time… I’m disappointed, and upset, and confused, etc. And even though you expect a fix in February, I honestly would also just like a refund and be done with it. 30 bucks is 30 bucks. I still love Avast! You guys are great! I think Avast kicks the $#@% out of Norton and McAfee, and Talk Like a Pirate Day has become a big part of my life thanks to you guys!
But anyway, yeah, I would just really like to forget about GrimeFighter… Ummm, how do I open a support ticket?
