Avast issues the subject message for an AutoIt script that has been converted to an executable file (.exe) the first time I run it after booting Win XP. After it pops up this message window, occasionally a a moment later, pops up an identical window above the first. It completes the scan after a short period and then allows the file to execute. The same thing happens once after booting when I run
a self extracting IExpress compressed .exe file and with other .exe files under similar circumstances.
I had to change the “Suspicious” file settings in order to allow these programs to run at all, but still
delays there executions as described above. This just began to happen in the last few days.
Could be the Cybercapture function at work.
As those are new files and avast likely doesn’t have their hash in the database, they are analyzed before executing.
This is actually deepscreen not cybercapture.
