Happy April Fools Day 2025

:performing_arts: There’s No Fool Like an Old Fool on April Fools’ Day 2025 :performing_arts:

You know you’re an Old Fool on April Fools’ Day when:

  • You prank your grandkids by telling them you joined TikTok… and they believe you until you say your handle is @DiscoDancingGramps69.
  • You replace your spouse’s pills with jellybeans… then forget which ones were real.
  • You yell “Alexa, delete the internet!” — and panic when the lights flicker.
  • You send your buddy a text saying, “The aliens have landed!” — only to get back, “Took 'em long enough.”
  • You walk into a room and forget the prank you were going to pull… then laugh anyway because forgetting was the prank.

Old Fools have experience, wisdom, and decades of bad jokes under their belts — and now, one magical day a year, they finally get to use them all at once. Poor world.

So go ahead, sprinkle some whoopee cushions, install fake updates on your friends’ devices, and proudly mispronounce “meme” as “me-me.”

Just remember: the key to being a truly great Old Fool isn’t just pulling pranks — it’s surviving the retaliation with your walker and dignity intact.

And if you’re wondering whether this post is a joke… well, let’s just say: you’ll never know for sure.

This is not funny. It is beytond comprehension how what should be a serious company is causing confusion and the fear of having being compromised and writing it off as a joke. I have been seeing a screen telling me my free anti virus has been updated when I have premium antivirus. You need to stop acting like a little child and GROW UP. This is a disgrace and you should apologise to your customers. I recommended your product recently. Never again. When my subscription expires I will not be renewing, I will take my business where I am able to deal with adults.

This post has nothing to do with Avast’s official business. It is something I an Avast user posted.
If you’re having a problem, please contact Avast but don’t hijack a personal post that’s meant to be an April Fools joke for something it certainly is NOT. Thanks and hope you solve your problem soon.

@Dodgy741 I think your post may have been related to this thread started by Avast staff 2025 April Fools Day
not Bob’s joke.
