Hardcore porn advert shown within avast mobile app

I just clicked on an odd advert within the mobile app and was taken to a hardcore porn advert (with such content!) with clearly fake claims, why is Avast allowing such adverts, do they not contravene advertising standards and what process is available for claims for damages for the distress caused by such?

Yes they do but, there is no perfect protection. Regardless of the product you use. no such thing as 100% protection.
There’s also no claim for “damages”. You could try to contact the site that re-directed you to ask them for damages.
For questions regarding your android device, https://forum.avast.com/index.php?board=37.0

You don’t make sense, I`m not talking of protection, its a Avast ad, therefore as avast accepted the ad they are responsible, its also their duty to ensure all adverts are checked that they do not contain illegal, pornographic or fraudulent content.

The advert appears entirely within the avast app, it does attempt top open an external site when I closed it, but that failed, no doubt as I have previously locked down chrome, that being the default browser that the avast app is no doubt using.

What Ad ??? Screenshot ???

I didn’t take a screen-shot at the time so unless the same ad appears again I cannot help.

The initial ad was a cartoon which appeared to be a comic devise, showing a women kicking a man under the table, words talked of something growing?

Is the ap going to change its rating? clearly if Avast is going to feature such content which is not suitable to minors it must change to a 18+ one.

If this thread is in the wrong section, apologize, could a moderator move to to the correct on please.
