i downloaded the free avast protection, got the email, registered avast, my time period is up, i can’t find the email to re register, avast has stopped working, and i have no protection…
can i get this number from anywhere…?

the truth is i am writing this on behalf of my sister, who is not the best when it comes to this…and she is about 500 miles away so i can;t pop around there and do it for her.
if she just deletes all the avast software on the pc and then re-registers, that should be fine?

avast has stopped working, and i have no protection....As far as I'm aware avast continues to work, just that you can't get updates for the VPS (virus signatures).
No need to uninstall avast, register, get the new key and enter it, then she will be able to update.
