I’ve received an IM with the following content:

I want key for professional [without buying it] but that link contain key for Home I have already registered the home version.

I don’t want to post the name of the user. I’m really disapointed. :stuck_out_tongue:

A software that took me tons of hours to translate (as so other translators).
A forum that I’ve gave a lot of effort and hours (as so other devoted users).

You’ve asked the wrong guy to do so :frowning:
We know that the Home version is fantastic.
We love avast more than people out from the family could imagine :-\

Tech, its disappointing that they would want a pirated key. Especially when the Home version is free and the pro version is cheap compared to other AVs

It is sad to know someone actually asked Tech for a pirated key. Home version is, as we all know, free and a perfectly good av.

Whats even more funny is that someone has guts to ask such thing on official avast! forums lol ;D It’s like asking a shop keeper if you can steal something ;D

I am also using avast! Home version and never ever felt any need to reach for some kind of pirated key.

For me Avast! Home edition is too good for me to think of upgrading to the Pro one. :wink:

i’ve had the home edition now for @4years…why would i want anything ELSE?

Why not ? Of course you can… it’s posted in forum, it means it’s public. Not just my friends… whoever like it is free to use it.

Some people even use Symantech products they find in some crack sites. It is “pro” the word that makes them so happy and secure.

Nothing nicer than using a crack for a program that most like will crack your system…
One of the reasons I long ago changed to avast. Mine is also the home version since for the year that I used the pro version,
I never made any real changes that aren’t available in the home version.
Alwil, that doesn’t mean I want anything taken away from the home version… ;D

The Alwil team contacted me and said that there is a ‘possibility’ of this user hasn’t asked for a pro key but for a trial one.
The user has never logged the forum again (at least that I noticed) ::slight_smile:

i love Avast! it is super 10.000 better then other i try out.

and i reported into Webroot about pirated keys codes they in turn block them from being use and wipe out their accounts totally.

what some will do or ask for.

it true Cracks and Trainers are loaded with Trojan horse and key loggers. you get what you ask for not all things in life is free. thanks god Avast! home version is the best security of peace of mind. thank Avast! team
