Hello everyone, here I will try to explain everything, Today I tried to install Avast from official site, then I tried to install it i got that messagge of error:
So i have installed w10 x64 but showing win 8 64x
I feel computer is very strange after this fact
I had sent SSD from amazon because my old SSD Sandisk Plus 240gb was slow about 60mb/s less of normal, Doing some backup and change for new one arrived I feel it start to happen frequently, I tried use unistall from safe mode, with software of avast self for clear install and remove.
Did you upgrade Windows 8 to 10 ? (or did you do in the past)
Try to install with the offline installer.
You say to download offline avast or windows 10?
avast and if you haven’t use a a clean Windows installation medium, I would say get it and start from scratch.
You can download the Windows 10 ISO from here > https://www.microsoft.com/nl-nl/software-download/windows10
The offline installer from avast can be found here > https://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=199715.0
With offline installer about 202 mb worked, but what is that problem? I mean Why this can be happened?
If you experience any problems (server errors, connection, etc.) with the download and installation of components as in your three images then part of the installation is going to fail, which may result in a complete failure to install.
I personally would never use an on-line installation, for several reasons:
- If you are doing this and you have another AV installed, then avast has to do things to delay the installation until the current AV is removed.
- If you have already removed your current AV then you are going on-line without protection. Some say the risk is small but I feel is is still a risk.
- It would appear that using the on-line installer it takes longer to download the components, that it does to download the full off-line installation file.
- You can keep a copy of that full off-line installation file, should you need it in the future.
Learnt something today…from your post above DavidR, thank you.
You’re welcome.
