How good would you rate Avast?
Hello Fawad3 and welcome to the forum :). How good would I rate Avast? That’s a very good question. Telling from many previous experience using many different paid/free antivirus software and finally made my final move when I first used Avast! 7 in 2012 and till now I am using Avast! 2015 and I don’t have any regrets making my switch. I consider Avast! Free to be the best and excellent antivirus software at present. It is very light in system resources, has excellent protection, excellent customer service and support, excellent free support via here (Avast forum).
Are you planning to make a switch to Avast 2015? What current antivirus do you have? If you are planning to switch to avast. Do the following! First uninstall your current antivirus software via add/remove and follow the instructions, download it’s uninstall utility/removal tool in normal mode and manually run your computer in safe mode and run that tool. After that has been done, download and install Avast! 2015, after it finishes installing it will do a quick system scan. After that has been done, restart your computer manually and register your copy of Avast!
N.B.: Prior to installing Avast! 2015 make sure you untick Dropbox not to be included in the installation process of Avast! 2015. It is located at the bottom of the installation process and make sure you choose custom installation. I always choose these features to be installed (File and web shield, software updater, and English version), but it all depends upon the user’s choice)
