HELP! How do you get a response from Avast?

Does anyone know how you can actually contact someone at Avast? I made a stupid error when I made my purchase (I gave the wrong email address) so I have not received my confirmation email or order ID and the products I’ve purchased aren’t working. I have now filled out 3 of the online forms, the last one requesting a refund. I have had no response to any of them. I have even resorted to messaging them on Twitter with no response.

How on earth do you actually speak to someone??

The telephone support is handled by a 3rd party company and they can’t handle payment issues as they aren’t able to access that (data) side of it.

Submit a support ticket https://support.avast.com/en-ww/contact/sales in your case select the Billing, payment, or license issues option - and then the I have a different billing or license issue and click Next and follow.

Support tickets are handled on a First In First Out and can take between 5 and 10 working days, depending on payment method. Whatever you do don’t submit multiple tickets as this throws you back in the line.

Now that you have requested a refund within the 30 days, you are entitled to a refund, it is the submission of the refund that is the time frame not the repayment, etc. Given the time of year it could take a little longer.
