Help please I have a virus keeps getting worse!

I need some help got a error message on my HP SR1901WM Compaq that it had a virus actually it is my kids computer the message popped up telling them there was a virus and they clicked the link that had popped up they thought it would get rid of the virus from there it only got worse. Every time you turned it on you got tons of pop up windows you couldn’t see pictures and avg virus scan said it was running but you couldn’t do anything with it thats when a friend recommend Avast to me but I couldn’t even download any virus software b/c the virus wouldn’t let me so I ordered the 12 disks to do a system restore (took me about 4 hours) hoping that would solve the problem but it hasn’t I did the system restore and put Avast on it and the computer was running great but Avast said there was a virus still on it Win32:RootKit-gen and yesterday it told me Win32:Trojan-gen(other).

No matter what I try to do with it delete it, move it, move it to the chest nothing works I went and disabled the system restore points and tried a couple other things still nothing is working today I wanted to get on line and run Trend Micro Hijack now I can’t even get on line it is taking forever to even get the icon for IE to get to the point where it opens and then it says the server won’t let me connect what the heck…I am ready to take this thing out to the garage and use a hammer on it please help!!!

I hope you can help

Can you post the name of the infected files and there full locations

eg virus.exe was found in C/WINDOWS/system32/ etc

First do a boot time scan http://www.digitalred.com/avast-boot-time.php
Then from another pc download MBAM and SAS and the manual updates.Transfer to infected pc and try to install, exit programs and double click on update files to update.Run seperate scans, post the results

mbam http://filehippo.com/download_malwarebytes_anti_malware/

mbam updates http://www.gt500.org/malwarebytes/database.jsp

sas http://filehippo.com/download_superantispyware/

sas updates http://www.superantispyware.com/definitions.html

Also download and transfer HJT, rename Hijackthis.exe to scanner.exe, open, choose 'scan and save a log file ’ The scan takes seconds, when the log open in text, right click, choose select all, then right click and choose copy.Come here right click and choose paste, into your next post
