i m going to buy new laptop.my dealer is giving licensed antivirus for 1 year.it is escan antivirus.i said to dealer to do less money for laptop bcoz if i not buy escan antivirus. but he not doing that so i thought to take that antivirus escan.he said it is a scheme on any laptop. i not trust more any other antivirus than avast.i m using free avast antivirus then also i not trust on escan even i got license for free.
please tell me can i use that escan in my laptop? is that good to use in laptop. i want to use escan bcoz dealer given me license but not so much i trust escan like avast i trust.wat i do. do u think escan can stop virus. if u think that it is not correct to post comments about escan then u can pm me. i want to know. i still using avast free in my pc and i buying new 1 in few days. wat i do. hope come1 understand my problem

But based on the single test report available at av-comparatives, I think in your situation I’d be probably OK using it. (e-scan). It does seem pretty good.
Another way of looking at it, is that you’re not losing anything by removing it and using Avast free instead. And maybe saving a bit of peace of mind, being familiar with the product. I doubt if you do this that you’d be able to transfer the e-scan licence to someone else; it’s probably tied to the purchaser of the lappie.
Of course, user decision and education is the best security tool.
