Help! Story of my laptop security

Hey guys! So about a week ago I unknowingly installed conduit on my PC. I didn’t know why the toolbar kept showing up and when my system performance began to deteriorate, I ran another scan with malwarebytes and found a bunch of PUPs. I got rid of them and I thought everything was fine. Then three days later, avast, nor malwarebytes wouldn’t startup and I became really scared. In an attempt to wipe this virus off the system I backed up my important documents onto my flash drive and did a system recovery/reset my pc. It’s all new now, so my question is, do I have anything to worry about? There are viruses out there that can evade powerful scans like avasts, or malwarebytes. If this is the case, how can I get these buggers off my PC?

Attach your logs. (MBAM, OTL and aswMBR…!!)

conduit is not a virus but classed as PUP = not virus / Possible Unwanted Program, usually crap that comes bundled with freeware downloads

avast PUP scan is default off exept for in boot scan…
i recomend using Malwarebytes for removing them

some info
The default action for PUP detections is 'Show in results list and do not check for removal."

this may save you from some of them installing. Unchecky http://unchecky.com

Thanks for the quick replies! I got to head out to church atm, but I will do these things ASAP when I get home!!! Thank you!
