Help to remove antivirus pro.

I need help to remove antivirus pro… it is on my bottom tool bar of my destop. And I can’t seem to get rid of it. it keep giving me a bunch of pop-ups. I have tried using avast to get rid of it and my windows defender but nothing seems to be working. is there something else I should do?

  1. Download Malwarebytes 1.40 Free - http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html?part=dl-10804572&subj=dl&tag=button (On-Demand Anti-Malware. Its great to got it with avast! and Windows Defender. There wont be conflict i do use both.)

Update and do a full scan.

Then post (attach) the log here so me or any user will can verify it. (Dont take action before some 1 verify it and see if there some false positive that i did got. He can have some false positive because of his heavy heuristic but its not a big problem just dont worry. Like he did to 1 of my file i did just ignore it because its was a Alert from a Dump File of my Customer…)

  1. Do a boot time scan with Avast! (be sure he is up to date)

Post the boot time scan log. (attach it. If its didnt find something then i think its wont worth to post it.)

  1. Be sure you got a 2 Ways Firewall (Vista Firewall (Only for Vista),Zone Alarm,Outpost,Online Armor,PC Tools…) And no XP Firewall that he is only 1 way. Now a day it is recommanded to got a 2 Ways Firewall like i mentioned some name.

PS : If all of this isnt worked please say it when you will post your two logs. Or if you dont know how to do something then please post back and i will try to be more clearly. I got Windows Defender also and its low on detection but if he find something tell us. I do use it in backup for some decent virus. avast! and Malwarebytes are my two special scanner that i use and its really great to remove fake anti virus and some other thing. Also 2 Ways Firewall is great for anywhere you surf. I use a 2 Ways Firewall and never had problem so dont worry. If anything is going wrong let us know and we will verify it. And when i say we i mean all any other Evangelist too.

Thank you.

Bye.

How to remove Antivirus Pro 2009

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-antivirus-pro-2009

Well pondus is alway here with his remove tools lol…

That Bleepingcomputer.com link doesn’t help. The Malwarebytes anti malware software just gets shut down by the rogue antispyware “Total Security” that I have.

I’ve been working over 9 hours to try and fix this now with no luck. Avast was running when I got it, I’ve tried bootscan after reinstalling Avast, and a system restore. Neither worked. This thing wipes system restore dates clean. Can’t get Avast to run now at all.

Total Security disables anti spyware software.

Thanks, Avast!

hey! you can try a rescue disk and see if it can help you: like avira or drweb cureit or bitdefender.
good luck.

I also tried Avira. This “Total Security” shuts everything down. Won’t allow them to run.

Well pondus is alway here with his remove tools lol...
And here we go again ;)

Try
Norman Malware Cleaner http://www.norman.com/support/support_tools/58732/en

Dr.Web CureIt http://www.freedrweb.com/

Have you tried running these scans in safe mode?

 Hi Jay :

“Total Security” is extremely difficult to completely remove ; you need the
help of a trained, CERTIFIED, Volunteer “Malware Removal Specialist” found on
many Advanced Malware Removal Forums, such as GeeksToGo, http://aumha.net
etc . A Thread about “Total Security” starts on the Bleepingcomputer.com Forums
at http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=252681&hl=Total+Security , which eventually is linked to another
Thread . See IF you are able to do any of the Recommendations in either of those
Threads .

P.S. You should NOT have “Hijacked” someone else’s thread, but started One
of your own .

yeah, I’ve been to the bleepingcomputer.com page. That’s where I found out about MalwareBytes’ anti malware…which didn’t work.

Thanks for the tips guys. I will keep trying.

 Hi Jay :

I am unsure IF your previous Reply was to me and/or someone else !?
As in MY link to the Bleepingcomputer Site, have you tried using “RootRepeal”
which can be found at http://rootrepeal.googlepages.com/ ?

JayBallz, try renaming MBAM, if you have already installed it, go to C\program files\ malwarebytes antimalware\ mbam.exe, rename mbam.exe, then double click on renamed file. If you haven’t installed , then rename the set up file as well.
Also try downloading process explorer prior to running MBAM, if you can see tsc.exe and or Sc2C21UvvM.exe right click and kill them

http://filehippo.com/download_process_explorer/

Also you could try Rootrepeal,as suggested by spiritsong, open the program, and use the instructions in the link http://forum.avast.com/index.php?topic=47639.msg402995#msg402995
Then post your log

You have hijacked another thread, this is very annoying and confusing.
