HELP !! Wi-Fi Inspector Scan (ndr Network Scanning Tool) found Vulnerability ...

Anyone got some help for me?

The problem is the network, not operating system, and HNS-ACCESSIBLE-SYSTEM-FOLDER does not exist among the folders hidden or protected by the operating system either.

I’m attaching the two screenshots of the Wi-Fi Inspector scan report, because I need help.

The reports have been generated in Italian but the technical part is understandable.

If there are any difficulties, I change the language of the AVIRA interface and repeat the scan in English.

Avira ?

This is avast forum

But the image is from Avast (no doubt a slip of the tongue)

@ aroon
Is USER-1 you, or a user known to you ?

https://www.varonis.com/blog/smb-port
Server Message Block is a communication protocol used to share files, printers, serial ports, and miscellaneous communications between nodes on a network.

What is SMB vulnerability?
It resides within the SMBv3 protocol and can affect newer systems, such as Windows 10 and Windows Server 1903 and 1909. An attacker exploiting this vulnerability can send a specially designed SMBv3 packet to a vulnerable server. Victims who connect to the server are then exposed to remote code execution.

Can you translate the first paragraph of image 1 ?

  • obviously the last part is ‘Ignore Vulnerability which isn’t something to take lightly.’ You would have to know who USER-1 is and is the request valid.

Hopefully some with a lot more network experience than I can join the topic.

Sorry for my delay in responding, but my body has been sabotaged (hacked) by a virus in the human body (yet another Covid-19 variant)

My quote ( …“I change the language of the AVIRA interface and repeat the scan in English” … ) is wrong, it’s AVAST, but you can see it…

Now, even, the scanning of the Computer Network stops at 99% and does not go beyond but neither does it finish the scan even after 4 hours … it stays running suspended (I have to stop it).

Yes, USER-1 is my PC.

These are the screenshots translated into English with Google because the Avast interface crashed.

You could first try a program update check - I did and this version and build number was the result - 24.5.6116 (build 24.5.9153.762) UI 1.0.808 and see if the issue is still present.
