Help with hXtp://includeit.info/include.js?id URL Malware

Received this today as I attempt to navigate along Chrome. Any help would much appreciated.

Attached is the OTL log. However aswMBR fails to complete the scan each time I attempt. (Shall I run in Safe Mode?)

Following is the MalwareBytes log as well which came up clean.

yes you may try to run aswMBR in safe mode

malware removers are notified. it may take many hours before one arrive so be patient

Alright was able to finish the aswMBR scan. Turns out the scan kept getting stuck and crashing on a DAW I had installed. Uninstalled and finished so here is the log.

[*]Then click the Run Fix button at the top
[*]Let the program run unhindered, reboot the PC when it is done
[*]Open OTL again and click the Quick Scan button. Post the log it produces in your next reply.

I gave it a shot and I’m still getting the Avast! Blocked Malware URL when I’m browsing in Google Chrome.

Attached is the Quick Scan log from OTL.

Thanks for your help!

Is it just in Chrome now ?

Yes. Internet Explorer & Firefox run smoothly with no warnings of a malicious URL.

Could you disable adblock and fast save in Chrome and see if that kills it

Disabled and browsed through about a dozen pages with success!!

Do you suppose it was both Adblock and Fast Save? Or just one? I’ve used Adblock for a while and never had any problems.

Thanks a ton for your help essexboy! You’re a scholar!

OK enable adblock first and then do some searching. If that is OK then delete the other one, or I can do that if you wish

Enabled adblock, browsed, and all is well. I’ll be sure to keep an eye on my extensions from this point forward.

Thanks again.

Subject to no further problems

I will remove my tools now and give some recommendations, but, I would like you to run for 24 hours or so and come back if you have any problems

Now the best part of the day ----- Your log now appears clean

A good workman always cleans up after himself so…The following will implement some cleanup procedures as well as reset System Restore points:

Run OTL
[*]Under the Custom Scans/Fixes box at the bottom, paste in the following

:Commands [resethosts] [emptytemp] [Reboot]

[*]Then click the Run Fix button at the top
[*]Let the program run unhindered, reboot the PC when it is done

Run OTL and hit the cleanup button. It will remove all the programmes we have used plus itself.

We will now confirm that your hidden files are set to that, as some of the tools I use will change that

[*]Go to control panel
[*]Select folder options (Appearance > Folder options in category view)
[*]Select the View Tab.
[*]Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Do not show hidden files and folders.
[]Click Yes to confirm.
[
]Click OK.
