help with scheduling

Saw a post which gave steps on scheduling a scan for AVAST (have the 4.5.459 running on a XP Home SP2) within XP’s Schedule Tasks feature.
The hint was to choose ashQuick.exe - tried that but still nothing (meaning the automatic task did not start)

Any one else have any tips?

YES, that was the link I saw- but it does not work.
After completing the steps - even doing the rt click and Run- results in no action. Not even an error message.

I want to schedule a scan of the hard drive (C)-
I have tried the spaceC: as well as without the colon.

Any other suggestions?

On the commom page of the avast settings, can you enable the ‘results’ on the explorer extension? Won’t this bring up a window with the results?

If you do not succeed, I’m affraid only the Professional version will fill your needs…
