I have the Jraun virus.
Which I found out from a free scan site.
I downloaded avast and on bootup ran a scan.
It found the infected folders.
When asked what to do I pressed 6.
which I think was quarantine all folders.
I may have chosen the wrong thing because it was in some of my system folders.
When the system rebooted it just kept rebooting.
I finally pressed f8 and got to safemode.
Avast functions arent running.
The virus chest file has nothing in it.
And I know I still have the virus.
I’m afraid to disable system restore cause of the system files that I, like a stupid disabled. I thought I could just restore the files then reinstall avast. The files arent there though. There is no listing.
Jraun disables any antivirus. and is a keylogger and hijack browser.
Help please.
