I just had avast installed on my computer by a friend who repaired my computer.My problem is that I am not sure how to stop the annoying pop up on the bottom of the screen that say “avast on screen scanner message”----How do you stop the pop ups. any help would be appreciated ???

Click on the blue ball with the “A” in it > standard shield > customize > advanched > Disable show advanched info.
It is always a good idea to read the manual if you got a new application.
