Hello… I love avast antivirus, I was using before norton… etc.
I have just I question: How many virus detects or has the database of avast?
For example, f.prot claims to detects more than 200.000.
I looked but I can´t find out how many virus detects avast on the web site or at the program (home version).

You could find other posts also, by clicking on the search button at the top of the page and looking for things like “virus detections” or “number of viruses” etc.
You’ll find that those kind of numbers don’t really give an accurate picture of how effective an anti-virus product is though.
I’ve been using Avast for about a year now and am absolutely thrilled with it. It just keeps getting better too! These forums are also a great way to get help and advice if you run into any problems.
If you have any problems with your old Norton not properly uninstalling, for example, there are also many posts explaining how to do it safely and completely.

When I uninstalled norton, I had to format my computer. Norton is the worst, In the past, even when I got infected sometimes, I didn´t have to format my whole pc!
I love avast now!
