I like the Avast Browser but considering changing due to the high CPU usage - why does it use nearly all my CPU please.
Some details might help, e.g. what do you consider High, what are you doing on the browser and what is your CPU, etc. ?
Can you compare it to the CPU use with your previous browser (which was) ?
Browsers do use a lot of Memory, but I haven’t found my Firefox uses much CPU activity, but that just standard browsing, no videos, games or or other CPU intensive activities. I no longer use the Avast Secure Browser, so I can’t compare to Firefox.

Yep. Agree with the OP. Comparing to chrome or brave, this thing littelly uses like 2 times more CPU than the other browsers.
