High CPU usage

Hi,
From few weeks I have very frustrating problem. 3 weeks ago, Avast process named AvastUI.exe changed his CPU usage from <1-5% to 50-80%, but after update of Avast , usage get back to low. But today I get this problem again. There’s no new update, but usage is still very high and I can’t do anything on my PC. So, I want to make a question. There is any fix for this ? Thanks in advance.

as bob3160 there is not enough information in you report, we would need to capture xperf logs and upload it to analysis.

Here are step by step instructions :

  1. Download xperf or wpa package it is win dependent so if you have win 7 download xperf for win 7 !

  2. Start cmd as admin and type to start profiling:
    xperf.exe -on DiagEasy+DISPATCHER+Profile -stackwalk profile+CSwitch+ReadyThread -start user -on 72AA3505-D4D6-4527-A088-92534DA1082C

  3. Stop profiling
    xperf.exe -stop user -stop -d daniel_loves_freitag_merged.etl

  4. Zip andrzej-15_merged.etl to andrzej-15_merged.zip and upload it to ftp://ftp.avast.com/incoming
