Unnecessarily

These entries shows all services which are not from Microsoft. Often malware is starting as a systemservice and it’s not easy to detect it. Unknown service. (service (file missing))

Unnecessary (deactivated) entry that can be fixed.

This is a problem with HJT just ignore O23 references to Avast as HJT just does not recognize at this point in

time I guess it will be rectified in the future there is no need to repair or take any action

:slight_smile: Just because something shows up on a HijackThis log does
NOT mean it needs to be “fixed” ; that why there are
numerous forums with HijackThis experts to guide those
who submit the logs for analysis .
