Home network down after WiFi Inspector!

Ran WiFi Inspector tonight after we seemed to be having issues with connecting with Firestick (new, worked for several days just fine). Now NOTHING in my home network works! I can’t download new mail, system won’t locate my wireless printer. I have never had issues with Avast before but this is serious. I run an online business and I’m dead in the water until this is solved.

Tried so far:

  1. rebooting our ATT Router/Modem.
  2. Repairing Avast through Control Panel (running Win 10).
  3. Running WiFi Inspector again to see if issues: none reported.
  4. Rebooted the computer 3 times so far and also the printer.
  5. Registered here to complain and I hope get help :frowning:
  • Which Avast…? (Free/Pro/IS/Premier)
  • Which version…?
  • OS…? (32/64 Bit…? - which SP/Build…?)
  • Other security related software installed…?
  • Which AV(s) did you use before Avast…?

If you’re using Avast IS or Premier, make sure your Firewall is set to Private
