Homeland Security Computer Blocked virus, have logs need help to finish cleaning

I’ve followed the instructions on another link, downloading, installing and running the following: Malwarebytes, Farbar recovery tool and aswMBR. I have the logs saved to computer. Computer is acting ok after Malwarebytes but I know I need to do more to fully clean. Please advise?
Details: Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

Note: I tried attaching multiple (“up to 4”) logs, but am only able to attach one at a time. I’m attaching Malwarebytes first and will await direction before attaching anything else.

Thank you in advance.

Update: I just figured out to load additional logs. The first may have attached twice. Still waiting for awsMBR to complete it’s scan but the malwarebytes and 2 Farbar logs should be attached.

Could you let me know what problems you are having after this

CAUTION : This fix is only valid for this specific machine, using it on another may break your computer

Open notepad and copy/paste the text in the quotebox below into it:

CreateRestorePoint: Startup: C:\Users\E5410\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\836C8E547.lnk ShortcutTarget: 836C8E547.lnk -> C:\PROGRA~3\745E8C638.cpp (No File) 2015-01-26 09:31 - 2015-01-26 09:31 - 00357376 ____T () C:\ProgramData\836C8E547.zot C:\PROGRA~3\745E8C638.cpp EmptyTemp: CMD: bitsadmin /reset /allusers

Save this as fixlist.txt, in the same location as FRST.exe

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/73555776/FRSTfix.JPG

Run FRST and press Fix
On completion a log will be generated please post that

THEN

Download and run farbar service scanner

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/73555776/fssscan.JPG

Tick “All” options.
Press “Scan”.
It will create a log (FSS.txt) in the same directory the tool is run.

Please copy and paste the log to your reply.

Here it is. Note; during restart I had a problem with it booting which I was having last week and had to create a boot disc to use. But I really think that was an unrelated issue after a windows update.

That’s better, are you experiencing any problems ?

Not at the moment. Two questions

  1. Should I keep these logs or delete everything that I downloaded/created?

  2. Have you been aware of Windows updating and then having Boot problems? I was dealing with this last week and I struggled to get past it. When I boot, it tries to go into this “auto fix” mode but then can’t fix itself and I then have to manually re-boot?

Regardless, thank you very much for your assistance!

Let me remove them safely

There was a bad KB last month but that should now be resolved

Subject to no further problems

I will remove my tools now and give some recommendations, but, I would like you to run for 24 hours or so and come back if you have any problems

Now the best part of the day ----- Your log now appears clean

A good workman always cleans up after himself so…The following will implement some cleanup procedures as well as reset System Restore points:

Remove tools

Download and run Delfix

: Keep Java Updated :

WARNING: Java is the #1 exploited program at this time. The Department of Homeland Security recommends that computer users disable Java
See this article

I would recommend that you completely uninstall Java unless you need it to run an important software.
In that instance I would recommend that you disable Java in your browsers until you need it for that software and then enable it. (See How to diasble Java in your web browser and How to unplug Java from the browser)

If you do need to keep Java then download JavaRa
Run the programme and select Remove Java Runtime. Uninstall all versions of Java present
Once done then run it again and select Update Java runtime > Download and install Latest version

Now that you are clean, to help protect your computer in the future I recommend that you get the following free programmes:

CryptoPrevent install this programme to lock down and prevent crypto ransome ware

Malwarebytes.

Update and run weekly to keep your system clean

Unchecky

Click on the link above to be taken to Unchecky.com
click the very large Download button.
click Save
Click Open folder
Right click on the Unchecky_setup and choose to Run as Administrator
Once open click the Install button.
Then click on Finish
Unchecky is now installed and will help you keep unwanted check boxes unchecked, this is a fire and forget programme

It is critical to have both a firewall and anti virus to protect your system and to keep them updated.
