How can I download my full version again if I have lost it?

I had to set back my Laptop to a former point. And by that my Avast-full Version got lost. Now there is no protection anymor. By calling up the programm a Information is coming: “Failed to load language dII(1033/UILangRes.dII)”.

How can I get my original version again?

Download Avast Uninstall Utility to your Desktop.
Download the correct version of Avast
Avast Free
Avast Pro
Avast Internet Security
Avast Premier
Disconnect from the net
Uninstall Avast via control panel

[]Run the uninstall tool and accept the reboot to safe mode
[
]Once complete reboot your system
[*]Reinstall Avast

Dear Essexboy!
Thank You very much for Your answer!
I followed the instructions. The uninstall programm kept on running for almost an hour without opening even the window that Shows the progress. Since I couldnt stop it I restartet the computer. I neither couldnt erase the uninstall program (to download it once again) nor can I uninstall the old uncomplete Avast Internet security program in the ordinary way via window 8.
So that´s it?!
Hoping for help in a helpless situation
with thanks in advance

Newbie.

Yes uninstall it via control panel as usual and then use the uninstall tool.

Thank You!
But this is the Problem!!! The control Panel doesn´t work now. It says: “Setup is already running. Please try to start the Setup later”.
Probably my mistake was that I startet the Uninstall Utility first, (because I didnt understand the word “Control Panel”). Thereby the Uninstall Utility changed something without uninstalling anything and now it´s hanging somehere.

I´m so sorry to Keep You busy with that. What should I do?

Lets see if I can find the running components

Please download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your Desktop.

Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. If you are not sure which version applies to your system download both of them and try to run them. Only one of them will run on your system, that will be the right version.

[*]Right click to run as administrator (XP users click run after receipt of Windows Security Warning - Open File). When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
[*]Select additions at the bottom
[*]Press Scan button.

[*]It will produce a log called FRST.txt in the same directory the tool is run from.
[*]Please attach both logs generated.

Dear Essexboy!

You are very Kind!
Since I am very busy and absent for a few days I will try this next week and keep You informed.
Thank You very much so far!

I ran the scan programm, but did´nt know what to do with the results. So just for fun I tried to install the “Internet Security Programm” and - wow - it worked! Obviously the Problem is solved, the old damaged Avast - Version has been getting uninstalled by that?!
So evrything is fine now.

Anyway many thanks for Your help!
