I’m showing several “available licenses” (eg Avast Internet Security & Avast Premier), but there is only one license number for all. The reason I want to find out about this is that Avast keeps requesting to restart my computer. The reason for that is that it is switching between Premier & Internet Security. I had Avast Free Antivirus installed initially until I added a new license number & that is when the “trouble” started. I can show these licenses using a screen shot if needed.
Repair Avast:
- Avast GUI → Settings → Troubleshooting
- Click on ‘REPAIR APP’.
- Follow instructions.
- Reboot.
Hi- I did exactly what you recommended & waited while I saw “Repair App” running. I waited 2-1/2 hours & did not see where it had completed. I then “X” -ed it out. I don’t think it did anything for my problem. Why or what can I try to remedy this problem which occurs about every 2-3 days?
