How can I safely test if Avast is interacting with my Wacom tablet?

Hello! This may seem like an odd question, but is there a way to safely test, without leaving me unprotected, whether or not Avast! is interfering somehow with my new Wacom tablet?

I have a brand new large Wacom Pro that I had to get replaced, after the first one refused to work properly on three different Win 7 computers with different setups. This new tablet is showing the same symptoms, so, as advised by Wacom Tech Support, I’m going through all the possible programs that could possibly be blocking something.

I honestly don’t think Avast! is doing anything, as it’s never affected my ability to use wacom tablets before, but I’d like to make sure. If there’s any information I need to provide, let me know. I’m afraid I’m pretty confused over how in the world I could test for anything!

You can disconnect from the net then disable avast and then test to see what programs may be causing issues, if everything works when avast is off you have your answer.

Thank you! I’m so glad it was something simple.
