Hi,
I suggest to you to perform a disk Cleanup or use CCleaner to empty the TEMP folder before you make an avast! scan.
It will help to haven’t a password protect problems on old installer in the TEMP directory

@ beno
By examining 1) the reason given by avast! for not being able to scan the files, 2) the location of the files, you can get an idea of what program they relate to. You may need to expand the column headings to see all the text.

If you can give some examples of those locations (the column you need to expand) ?

That said it looks like an update, probably codecs and the contents of the *_setup.dat (where * is the rest of the file name) is protected, which isn’t that unusual.

I did get it, im doing the “Drive Wiper” i chose the option to clean up free space and it wan to klean up over 80gig’s, is it posible that is so much out of total 220gig’s??? thanx for reply

true that :). now the report looks much “familiar”. thanx man

I would’nt be running driver wiper if i were you as it does what it say’s and will wipe all of windows, you should only need to run the normal disc clean.
