How can i update my virus protection without upgrade to 4.8?
every time i do virusdatabase update its updating avast to v4.8
You should select Manual program update method in Settings
With default settings, which is to notify of program updates, this should only happen if:
the VPS is no lomger compatible with the earlier avast! build, or
a program change is considered so crucial as to make upgrade mandatory.
I’d try to reproduce it myself but I can’t find any PCs still with 4.7.
