How do I delete threats? Ran a scan turned up a keylogger but don't know how to

can’t see how I delete the threats? Can anybody help?

What avast version are you using 4.8 or 5.0 ?

I use the free version 5.0

When detected, send them to Chest.
Or scan your computer on demand, after it finished, send the detected files to Chest.
Or schedule a boot time scanning.

Well the on-access detection process and action is automated in avast5, the first action being Send to chest.

Deletion isn’t really a good first option (you have none left), ‘first do no harm’ don’t delete, send virus to the chest and investigate.
