How Do I get a better graphics card!?

Hi, I play a game ‘Last Chaos’ but when in the dungeons etc. all the walls have these lines on it, floors are black, Can’t change some options such as reflection etc. Doesn’t support Anti-Aliasing. So how can I get a better graphics card? Not buying anything.

Just tell me what info you need and I’ll post it.

well, i would say that graphical problems often are because of old drivers…

first you should try to update to the latest version! you can find it on the homepage of the cardmaker - what is your graphic card?

if you really want to you can try to overclock the card by increasing the clock with a program, but you should be aware of tuning it to much, that it gets damaged…
i don’t know if you use a laptop, because if so its harder to find up to date drivers and overclocking is absolutely not recommended…

They sound like you don’t have a graphics card, but a motherboard with an integrated graphics chip.

To find your info, My Computer, System Properties, Hardware tab, Device Manager, Display adapters. That is what shows my graphics card type.

So you if you have an integrated graphics chip then you could add a new graphics card, but you would to know what type of card your motherboard supports, a) VGA video slot and there are many different incompatible types, or b) PCI video slot.

So this isn’t a straight forward task and you may be better visiting a hardware/gaming support site.

Ok, did that and it says Intel(R) G33/G31 Express Chipset Family

I went to the website, Found it Downloaded it, installed it but it still says the same version although It said like 14 something.

When I go to download it. Do I get G33 Or G31?

Make sure you are running the latest drivers and directx.
