How do I get rid of benimicinode virus

Benimicinode keeps opening new tabs every time I wake or reboot my computer. I have scanned with Avast several time and it is not catching the virus. Any help is appreciated!

Run Malwarebytes AdwCleaner >> https://www.malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner/

Thanks for the reply! I installed and ran the free version of Malwarebytes yesterday…glad to know they still come recommended. It did not detect the beni virus. Running it again now and will purchase the paid version if the free version still doesn’t detect it. I’ll let you know my progress.

Also- I get File not found when I click the avast link you gave :wink:

Note that Malwarebytes [b]Antimalware[/b] and Malwarebytes [b]AdwCleaner[/b] are two diffrent programs I suggested to run AdwCleaner in post above
Running it again now and will purchase the paid version if the free version still doesn't detect it.
They both (malwarebytes Antimalware free/pro) have the same scan engine / signatures …. paid Version have realtime protection

Got it! Ran the AdwCleaner, it did find somethings so hopefully this has taken care of my issue. Thanks so much for taking the time to reply.
