How do I report an Undiscovered Worm?

My router Logs show (and blocked) “ET WORM TheMoon.linksys.router 1” 19 times from my laptop to an (unrecognised by me) MAC address on my network, but Avast has not detected it. I do regular Avast Full AV scans, daily Smart Scans and have real-time and network scanning on - but no issues found.
EDIT: My router is not a “linksys”.

How do I report the details to AVAST so they can look into it and why it’s not being detected by Avast? I cannot find any email address, etc, to report it to, and I don’t have a suspect “file” to submit.
I still don’t know where the issue has arisen from, just that my router has been seeing and blocking it, so I cannot resolve the cause yet.

I’ve done some more re-searching on the web and found this discussion:

It seems from the discussion that the “Worm” is likely originating from Avast !!! during Network scanning. Also that Avast has maybe been doing this for a long while (and now in Norton).

I’d hope that Avast will FIX this!
At the least, Avast should come clean and also say how safely to prevent the false positives. Or provide an option to skip this “Worm” network test.

Security products should not create false positives elsewhere!
