How do I transfer Avast from old to new com puter

Help! I have a new computer and when I was setting it up it advised me that McAfee was already installed. EEEKKK! I need to know what to do to get rid of McAfee and add my Avast. I can’t find my registration or licence number. How do I go about transferring my Avast AV to my new computer. Thanks in advance for reading this and your help will be appreciated.

First, be sure to get rid of all remnants of McAfee…!!

Then:

  1. Uninstall Avast on old machine.
  2. Reinstall on new machine.
  3. Enter license. Done.
