how do you uninstall just the comodo firewall?

how do you install just the comodo firewall and not the whole internet security with antivirus? Also can you install safe surf too or will it interfere with avast? Thanks.

I think i found out but im not sure since the icon still says comodo internet security. I clicked download and just installed firewall and safe search. Will this work ok with avast?

Should work fine with Avast! If this version has a separate install selection for D+, should install that also, but usually is part of the firewall installation. You should be able just to use the default configuration. There are a lot of CIS users who decline their AV and use Avast! instead, so they should also be able to answer any questions about the combination on the Comodo board.

works fine with avast…have used for around 1 year with avast-no problem
and you can download just the firewall from here if ever needed again :slight_smile:

Re ‘Safe Search’. If it’s just ‘ASK’ toolbar repackaged , you probably don’t need/want that either.

Unfortunately that is the old version of the firewall/D+ that is no longer being updated and has significant bugs in it, although 3.0.24 is better than 3.0.25. Currently they are only supporting the CIS version, which is scheduled to be released as version 3.8 very soon.
