I just got a laptop. I already had a desktop. They are not networked–yet. Reading the posts, it seems that I can use the same key from the desktop when installing 4.8 into the laptop. But I don’t know how to go about this. I imagine I have to download 4.8 into the laptop, but do I create a different username and password, or use the same ones as for the desktop? I got my first key for the desktop in an email from Avast after installing. Will I get an email with a new key after installing into the laptop? Obviously, I need help. Thanks in advance.
If you use both notebook and desktop for Home and non-commercial activities, you can use the same key, registered with the same email address. Can you do it or you need further help?

I was interrupted but when I finally got to downloading and installing Avast Home 4.8 it went smoothly without a hitch. My comfort level is quite high now. Thanks again for the help.
